Pregnancy – Natural Remedies for Common Conditions

Morning sickness
Freshly grated ginger tea, vitamin B6, umeboshi plums, regular intake of protein, homeopathic remedies such as Nux Vomica, raw almonds, a fresh juice of pineapple, beetroot & carrot and burn lemon essential oil

Stretch Marks
Fish oils, zinc, drink plenty of water, eat foods high in vitamin C and Bioflavonoids such as kiwi fruit, grapefruit, red capsicum, pomegranates, black currants & citrus fruits and massage vitamin E or jojoba oil topically

Cramps

Headaches

Heart burn
Eat small meals, don’t drink fluids with your meals, slippery elm, probiotics, celery juice, natural yoghurt and homeopathic remedies such as Pulsatilla

Insomnia
Rescue Remedy Sleep, Bach flower remedies Olive or Hornbeam, homeopathic remedies such as Coffea, yoga Nidra, avoid stimulants such as tea, coffee and chocolate, wear ear plugs and an eye mask

Thrush
Probiotics, avoid sugar and yeast whilst increasing garlic in your diet, wear loose cotton underwear and use a natural clothes washing powder

Suggested Supplements
Fish oils (ensure they are derived from small fish and batch tested for heavy metals), pregnancy specific multivitamin, spirulina, probiotics
