PRODUCE SPECIAL : Blueberries  - $5.00 per punnet.
Coming from Ardrossan Orchards in Batlow, VIC.

GROCERY SPECIAL: Robinvale - Sparkling Drinks, Grape Juice & Dried Fruit - 10% off all of January
Mr. & Mrs. George Caracatsanoudis established Robinvale Organic Wines located at Robinvale (470km North-West of Melbourne on the Murray River) in 1976. Today sons' Steve, Bill and their families continue to produce beautiful biodynamic wines, non-alcoholic beverages, fresh grapes and dried fruits for us to enjoy.

  • First things first.....this week's Apricots are extremely ripe. Please inspect and make a 'use first' item this week. We have discarded so many pieces of fruit this week that I am concerned about their travel to your place and how quickly you will need to eat them. The good news is they are delicious! Lucky, you may need to eat more than you were expecting today! ...and that's it for the Apricot season. I am sure you will all agree it has been a good one - never long enough!
  • Peaches and Nectarines from Brooke-Kelly as usual outstanding, to die for, next level. Greg always charges a little more for his fruit with good reason - they are the best at this time of the year! Treat yourself....Also slip stone at the moment (flesh does not stick to the seed) which means you can cut like an avocado and then twist off the seed.
  • Cherries from Bray in Tassie - also fantastic! Fruit is amazingly big with a great flavour.
  • If you are looking at your Pizazz Plums or Santa Rosa thinking you have received Black Amber - it is possible. David Fairey sent us 1 box of fruit on Monday which disappeared into the packing line.....a lot more available this week and now on the list. Angelino & Angelina Plums available this week - Angelino are a round plum, while Angelina are the super sweet teardrop shaped plum.
  • Seedless Watermelon back on the list from K Produce in NSW. Whole melons are between 4 and 6kg.
  • Sorry about the lack of Red Grapes early in the week, unfortunately a delay in transport resulted in the fruit not arriving until late Tuesday morning. Thankfully, the Menindee Grapes have been superb and were in good supply so we were able to sub...and Jett always tells me that with Round Green and Red Grapes if you close your eyes you can't tell which is which...
  • Mango abundance is slowing up...I hope you have all overdosed. KP's from QLD really have been superb this season and extremely well priced! As with each Mango season we do often see some black spotting at the end of the mango that has been attached to the tree. Know what to expect.
  • Ardrossan Orchard has started picking Blueberries which are brilliant....and in very good supply - our produce special this week - $5.00 per 125gm punnet. Order with confidence.
  • Valencia Oranges, Limes, Avos (all varieties - Ryan on grower special this week), Bananas, Dragonfruit, Passionfruit, fact all the fruit was excellent this week
  • A quick note about the Second Quality Stonefruit - from one week to another we have no idea how many will be, please make a note with your order if you would like us to replace your order of Seconds with First quality fruit should the Seconds not be available.
  • New season Apple season starting this week with Gala from GMP. We will also continue to offer Grannies and Juicing (both old season). Please keep in mind that new season Gala are always a little pale...know what to expect.
  • As many of you know the Summer Caulis we have supplied you over the last 2 weeks have been pretty rough...this is generally the case in the warmer weather....especially when we compare them to heads from our Master Cauli growers - the Hamms in QLD who supply our Cauli's all Winter....Quality should improve a little this week with heads now coming from Maurice Caffra in VIC....but will be on the smaller side considering they are the first of the season. Broccoli is also a little 'uglier' in Summer versus Winter. Heads are not as tight and the colour of the flowerettes can at times have a tinge of orange....good news is flavour is good regardless of colour. Know what to expect.
  • Veges generally speaking were fantastic this week - stand outs being - Beans, Petite Cherry Tomatoes, Red Capsicum (on grower special this week), Roma Tomatoes, Broccolini (well the pretend version), Carrots - both normal and Purple (coming from Fred Rowodwsky), Mini Leb Cucumber, Bok Choy, Snowpeas, Dutch Cream Potatoes & Jap Pumpkin.
  • Our beautiful land continues to burn...our hearts and thoughts are with those that have been affected by the tremendous devastation being felt across our dry and tired Country...we have again done the best we can to update our site with the most accurate and up to date info about where our produce will be coming from, but as you all know we do not sell from stock in our coolrooms, produce is still on farm at this stage....should the source of our produce change over the next few days, rest assured our fresh fruit & veg offerings are all Certified Organic and all Australian grown - Always.
  • Did you know we have Recipe Packages, also simply known as Meal Inspiration for those of us preparing dinner for the fam each evening...Head to our Meal Inspiration Page to find this week's selection of Recipe inspirations. We know you all have things in your pantry like Olive Oil so with our packages you can simply add the package to your cart and then delete any goodies you don't require. So simple !
  • Please return our boxes, icepacks and plastic boxes containing soft fruits and veges! These can be used over and over again if treated with care. We also welcome the return of all other packaging material that may find it's way into your order, egg cartons, bubble wrap, lettuce and spinach boxes, etc. I know many are sceptical about the recycling of goods through local councils....but please be assured we deliver all of the packaging material we use (when the end of their life is upon us) into Sydney Markets where recycling is a big business.....Please leave all these goodies in your returning boxes out for our drivers to collect on your next delivery.

We have updated our website with the most up to date and accurate information available to us at this time, but due to many factors including that most of the produce is yet to be picked there is of course some uncertainty with our expected supply. The good news is that we have quite a few supply options available to us and so we may list a Grower on our site that does not end up supplying us goodies this week. Rest assured we only deal in Certified Organic, Australian Grown Fruit and Veges - so any replacements we may supply to you from other Aussie Growers will also be grown in line with the National Organic Standard. You don't have to take our word for it... Lettuce Deliver is also a Certified Organic Retailer (NASAA Retailer R9291) which means that we have to be able to prove any claims we make about a products organic status at a moment's notice : )

Thank you all so much for support regarding our listing on NSW Food Authorities site for being in breach of a food act. If you have been blissfully oblivious to the drama, you can come up to speed here... or just sail on by and come on in to order our Aussie grown, All Certified Organic Fruit & Veges : )

MILK many cases the Milk we offer you needs to be pre-ordered at our end a week in advance. Most of the time our guess- timates are spot on...but we have been caught out on the odd occasion. We do have a number of Dairy options available to us and so if we run short  on some varieties, we may look to others to fill the gap. If you would like us to supply ONLY the milk you have ordered or nothing at all, please make a note with your order.

As you know, we charge your credit card for your delivery total on the day of or day after your delivery. Please ensure that we have your up to date credit card details and that there are sufficient funds available on the day of your delivery for us to process your payment.
